The summer 2021 NINI SWIM collection was created under the name of Sexuality and Sustainability, for NINI these were the two most important aspects to consider when designing. For her, the primary motivation has always been to increase women’s self-confidence, this is how she created her first success piece, the Pombag in 2015. She always wanted people to turn around after the NINI women on the streets because of her creations or simply because of their radiance. NINI wanted to make women who wear her swimwear feel confident and sexy. The other important value that NINI has now put at the forefront is sustainability, to which she also pays great attention to when making her handbags, always working with timeless designs and materials, as well as local production is a must for the designer. The pieces in this year’s swimwear collection are made from 100% recycled materials, from high quality, sustainable ECONYL® recycled nylon. Nylon waste that otherwise pollutes the land, such as plastic bottles and fishing nets, is converted into recycled nylon. It’s exactly like brand new nylon, but it can be recycled, recreated and reshaped.
]]>The SS21 Collection named Hungarian Love is the celebration of Nini's return to her culture, to her heritage, the roots and to the things she loves most about her country, Hungary. We implemented Nini's favorite childhood hobby, the beading method in the collection creating new beaded handbag styles. We also used vintage traditonally embroided fabrics to create up-cycled pieces.
We are thankful for everyone who made it possible for NINI to present at Milan Fashion Week. Special thanks to HFDA and Camera della Moda for believing in our brand and taking us on board to the International Mentoring program.
We are honoured to be a part of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency’s Hungarian Mentoring program where ten local brands were selected by a professional fashion commitree. We received the opportunity to work with well respected industry experts in the field of branding, sales, marketing, public relations, sustainability and finance to further improve the brand.
We are truly thankful for this chance and for trusting our brand to contribute in the building of the Hungarian fashion scene. Since we started the program and since we are regularly attending to the workshops we already improved on many aspects of the brand and on it’s day to day operations as well. Specialized experience & fashion business expertise what we exactly needed to take over 2020 and reach the next level in the NINI movie!
Big thank you for the entire team of HFDA and the mentors!

]]>"The first consideration in the design was to create pieces that fit not only as swimwear, but also in combination with other items from the wardrobe it can be worn at a beach bar or a beach party. The major inspiration was the biggest icon of the 50s, Grace Kelly's style and style of her age, blended with the lifestyle of today's 25- to 35-year-old female consumers, we've created styles that can be combined with each other it can be the favorite of their owner for many seasons with styling we wanted to reflect on the taste and priority of the millennial generation, therefore we used a special lycra material which is made out of fishnets and plastic bottles collected from the sea.” - said Nini Molnár
